FUNDamentals of Funds: Introduction to Funds Management

This course covers the fundamentals of funds. Fund accounting allows us to track University activity in a meaningful way. This is critical to managing university resources and providing an accurate assessment of activity to our donors and government agencies. This class is recommended for individuals who reconcile or manage funds.

Who should take this course?

• This introductory level course should be taken by all employees who have financial responsibility for Stanford Funds.
• If you are working toward a Level II certificate, this class is an elective. We recommend you take it after taking the required Level II classes.
