Confidentiality of OPACs Disclosures

OPACS disclosures are confidential and access is restricted to authorized personnel, including:
- Cognizant School Deans
- Dean of Research
- COI Staff
- Other designated individuals as appropriate, such as:
- Associate Deans
- Department Chairs
- Central COI Committee
- SLAC Lab Director
- Senior administrative staff
- University officials in Internal Audit
- Office of General Counsel
Outside Interests that are determined through review to constitute a financial conflict of interest (FCOI) related to PHS (NIH)-funded research require submission of an FCOI report to the NIH, which will also be made publicly available. Other federal agency policies may also mandate submission of an FCOI report to the external funding agency upon request, and those reports may be made publicly available (see RPH 4.2 for additional information).
