The Office of Sponsored Research (OSR), under the Office of Research of Administration (ORA), provides pre-award and post-award administrative services for sponsored projects. ORA collaborates with partner groups in other central and school offices to coordinate research administration services, systems, and processes. ORA reviews and endorses sponsored projects proposals, negotiates and accepts awards, and issues subawards on behalf of Stanford. In addition, ORA establishes sponsored accounts in Stanford's financial system and fulfills sponsor's financial reporting requirements.
