Course Summary

This course is for administrators at all levels who want to improve their abilities to develop, prepare, route and process proposals and proposal budgets. It will help you develop an understanding of Stanford and sponsor requirements related to proposals. It was created with subject matter experts from DOR, OSR, ERA, Independent labs, H&S.

Work at Your Own Pace

We divided the material into modules so you can fit the course into your life. You don’t have to read all the modules at once, although many people do. You can come and go in whatever way works for you. You can go back and review modules anytime before you take the final test to receive credit. You can audit the course material if you do not want to receive credit. It is an always available desktop reference.

Companion Workshops

After you complete this online course, you are required to attend three hour hands on workshop to extend and reinforce your learning. You will apply the concepts you learned online with guidance from instructors who will answer your questions and flesh out some of the nuances in the topics. It is offered on specific dates each month. When you complete the online course you will be prompted to register for the workshop.

How to Get The Most From This Course
