Seminar on best practices for proposal preparation and development.  Tips on reviewing the funding opportunity solicitation.  Discussion on leveraging the SeRA Proposal Development Routing Form (PDRF) to capture critical Stanford and sponsor information and approvals in advance of submission deadlines.

 

The Three Cs of Cost Sharing: Commitment, Compliance, and Caveats

June 5, 2018 - 10:00 to 11:00 am & July 17, 2018 - 10:00 to 11:00 am

This seminar will explore the entire life cycle of cost sharing, from including a commitment during proposal development to maintaining compliance through closeout.  We will discuss the three main types of cost sharing: mandatory committed, voluntary committed, and voluntary uncommitted. We’ll also delve a little deeper and discuss how to successfully manage and report on cash, in-kind, and third party contributions throughout an award.

Our annual National Science Foundation Updates Seminar  was held on December 18th at Turing Auditorium.

NSF Spring 2017 Grants Conference

Semi-annual NSF Grants Conferences are essential learning opportunities for new faculty, researchers and administrators who want to gain key insights into a wide range of current issues at NSF. NSF program officers representing each NSF directorate will be on hand to provide up-to-date information about specific funding opportunities and to answer attendee questions.

The Spring 2017 NSF Grants Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Louisville, Kentucky.
